GILLIAN WATERS
Over the next academic year, Gillian is offering a wide variety of History courses. Each term there will be:
• a Certificate Course (similar to CLL accredited courses) lasting 11 weeks, £165;
• a Learning for Pleasure Course lasting 10 weeks, £125;
• five Saturday Courses each lasting 3 hours, £35.

Gillian hovell
Gillian Hovell offers a monthly online live lecture and several short courses which can be accessed either live or as recordings. As well as Archaeology, she specialises in Mythology, Prehistory, Ancient History and Latin. The latest course on Greek Vases runs over 7 weeks and costs £105.
LEARN FOR PLEASURE
Learn for Pleasure was set up by former tutors at Exeter University. They offer 10 week online courses on a range of subjects including Archaeology, Egyptology, and History & Heritage. The format is similar to CLL unaccredited courses but there is no face to face discussion. Price is £150 per course.
CITY LIT
The City Lit provides a wide range of courses across several disciplines including Culture, History and Humanitiesand Writing. Courses range from half a day to 11 weeks. Some courses include live online sessions. Prices vary up to a maximum of £249; most long courses cost £179.

ARVON
Arvon is a charity dedicated to supporting creative writers. They offer an extensive online programme of Writing Days, Weeks, Months, and Masterclasses. All sessions are live and interactive. Price varies according to the length of the course; for example, a single 2 hour course is £20, a one week intensive course costs £450. They also offer a free monthly Saturday Writing Club (suggested donation £5).
